What is JanOrder?
JanOrder is a customer-facing local commerce platform. It helps people find participating businesses, book slots, scan relevant QR codes and place direct orders.
Do I need to download an app?
No. JanOrder is designed to work in a browser. You may optionally install it for quicker access.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Normal participating experiences are designed to support guest use. Optional sign-in may help with history and cross-device convenience.
Can I order directly from a local shop?
Yes, when the participating business has enabled direct ordering and made its catalogue or ordering flow available.
Can I book a salon appointment?
Yes, when a participating salon or barber shop exposes available booking options.
What is Scan & Shop?
It is an in-store experience in which customers scan enabled product codes, build a basket and send it to the merchant.

Ask it to use Bill It Bharat, which provides the business-side tools behind JanOrder experiences.
Is Bill It Bharat actually free?
Yes. It is designed to remain 100% free for businesses, with no paid plans, feature tiers, usage-based upgrade limits or artificial caps intended to force an upgrade.
What can Bill It Bharat enable?
Depending on the business and configuration, it can support billing, QR ordering, Scan & Shop, direct ordering, booking, UPI flows, customer management, Khata and sales visibility.
What is the Digital Dukaan mission?
It is the shared effort to help trusted neighbourhood businesses add practical digital experiences while retaining their direct customer relationships.

Is JanOrder a Government of India service?
No. JanOrder and Bill It Bharat are independent private platforms and are not government services or schemes.
